Our structure and committees
We are led by our Board with support from a Corporate Leadership Team, Strategic Advisory Council, and several committees. They work together to make sure we deliver our purpose, vision and mission.
Board
Our Board consists of a chair, the chief executive, and 13 other members appointed by the Scottish Government. They bring experience from across Scottish education and industry. Some are currently practising teachers and college lecturers, and this helps to keep a strong focus on the needs and view of learners and educators.
The Board makes sure we meet our statutory responsibilities, deliver Scottish Government policies and priorities, and use resources effectively.

The Strategic Advisory Council represents the needs and views of stakeholders.
It provides advice to Qualifications Scotland and Scottish Government Ministers on matters relating to our qualifications, awards and functions.
