What we’re working on
We’re transforming our qualifications and services so they work better for you. We’re focused on three areas: making sure qualifications are fit for the future, building strong relationships with the people who use them, and creating new and improved digital services.
Qualifications reform
Over the next few years, we’ll review and reform our qualifications to make sure they’re fit for purpose in a modern, flourishing Scotland. Our aim is to make sure that our qualifications continue to meet the needs of learners, centres, employers and wider society.
This is part of a wider programme of curriculum and assessment reform, in collaboration with Education Scotland and the Scottish Government.
We’ll make these changes in collaboration with learners and educators, who will be able to have their say.
Learner and educator engagement
We've published an Engagement Report which details engagement activities across many areas and shows how feedback from learners, teachers, lecturers, parents, carers and employers has led to changes in qualifications and assessment.
We continue to build strong relationships with schools, colleges and learners.
Digital transformation
Through our digital transformation project, we’ll introduce simpler, more efficient digital services that will transform delivery of our qualifications, assessments and supporting services. We’ll work with learners, educators, and our staff and appointees to design services that will save time for centres and teachers and make it easier for learners to take their next steps.
